POSITIVE TALK · NATIONAL RECOVERY OUTREACH

COMING SOON · PARTNERSHIPS IN DEVELOPMENT

ONE PERSON.
ONE CHANCE.
ONE NEW BEGINNING.

We believe financial hardship should not erase the possibility of recovery. The Positive Talk Second Chance Initiative is working to build charitable partnerships with licensed residential addiction treatment providers across the United States.

OUR VISION

A CHANCE TO BEGIN AGAIN.

Our initial goal is to seek donated, fully funded 30-day residential addiction treatment scholarships from charitable treatment partners nationwide, for eligible people who face financial barriers to care.

01

Partner with purpose

Invite licensed residential treatment centers to consider voluntary charitable scholarships, subject to their capacity and applicable requirements.

02

Professional care comes first

Each participating provider independently determines clinical suitability, admissions, treatment services and the appropriate length of care.

03

Connect people with information

Share trustworthy recovery resources and, once independently confirmed, information about charitable opportunities without promising admission.

FOR TREATMENT PROVIDERS

HELP US OPEN A DOOR.

Are you a licensed residential addiction treatment center with an established charity-care program, scholarship fund or interest in donating a comprehensive 30-day treatment placement?

We would welcome an introductory conversation about a compliant, independent charitable partnership. Any recognition of partners would be reviewed separately from admissions or patient referrals.

What we hope a scholarship covers

  • Residential treatment and accommodations
  • Meals and core treatment services
  • Professional counseling and recovery support
  • Clear information about any exclusions or additional costs
  • Discharge planning and connections to ongoing care

Coverage and treatment plans will vary by provider. Medically necessary services and admission decisions always belong to qualified professionals.

FOR PEOPLE SEEKING HELP

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS PROGRAM.

There are no confirmed Second Chance scholarships or open applications at this time. Please do not submit personal medical histories, diagnoses, insurance information or other sensitive details through the Positive Talk contact form.

If you or someone you care about needs treatment now, use the national treatment directory to find professional services and ask providers directly about financial assistance or charity care.

POSITIVE TALK SECOND CHANCE INITIATIVE

RECOVERY IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

We are beginning with outreach, responsible planning and the hope of building meaningful partnerships in all 50 states. We will publish verified opportunities only when they actually exist.
