01Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use apply to the Positive Talk website, including public educational pages, member accounts, the moderated Conversation Room and Growth Room. Using interactive features indicates agreement to these terms and the Returns & RefundsPrivacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use interactive services.
02Free resources and our purpose
Positive Talk offers free faith-inspired encouragement, Proverbs reflections, personal-growth information, and links to mental-health, recovery, health and financial education. No membership purchase is necessary to read those resources. We welcome constructive disagreement and aim to keep discussions respectful and helpful.
03Educational content, not professional care
Our material provides general information and encouragement, not clinical diagnosis or treatment, legal services, financial advice tailored to an individual, or guaranteed personal outcomes. Faith-based resources express spiritual perspectives.
The community is not an emergency or continuously monitored crisis service. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support. More resources are available on our Mental Health page.
04Accounts and age requirements
Wix supports member registration and authentication. You agree to provide truthful information, protect your account credentials, avoid impersonating others and report suspected unauthorized access.
The site is not designed for children under 13. Visitors ages 13–17 should obtain parent or guardian permission and guidance before using interactive features. Paid purchases should be made only by an adult authorized to enter the purchase agreement. Access may be restricted where necessary for security, compliance or community protection.
05Growth Room payment, renewals and cancellation
The optional Growth Room Monthly plan currently costs $4.99 USD per month. It automatically renews every month until canceled and has no free trial. Wix checkout shows the final payment details, available methods and any applicable taxes before you purchase.
Access to paid workbook materials and member activities depends on verified active subscription status. If a payment succeeds and resources do not appear, use our contact form before attempting another purchase.
Cancellation: The membership can be canceled using the available Wix billing or subscription-management process, or you may request assistance from Positive Talk. Cancellation generally stops future renewals subject to checkout terms; it does not itself reverse completed charges. Refund requests are handled as required by applicable law and the relevant checkout terms. This page does not promise automatic refunds.
Changes to price or plan benefits may occur in the future subject to applicable notice and consent requirements; they will not retroactively change a completed agreement.
06Protected workbook and member materials
Growth Room digital workbooks, downloadable activities and other paid content are intended for personal, noncommercial learning by members with authorized access. Do not resell, republish, share, distribute or bypass access controls to obtain them without permission. Personal-growth exercises cannot guarantee a particular emotional, spiritual, financial or health outcome.
07Community conduct
Registered members, whether free or paid, may take part in the moderated Conversation Room. Speak with dignity; respect differences; share only content you are authorized to post; and protect privacy. Posts and replies may require moderator approval before becoming visible.
- No threats, bullying, hateful harassment, discriminatory abuse or violence.
- No spam, scams, impersonation, unlawful content, malware or unwanted solicitation.
- No sharing of passwords, confidential messages or someone else's personal information without permission.
- No dangerous guidance framed as a professional diagnosis or treatment.
- Do not assume that moderators or community members can provide emergency services.
Members may report content. Moderators may review, withhold, limit or remove content or account access in order to address safety and these rules, subject to applicable law. Moderation does not guarantee every post is accurate.
08Member contributions and ownership
You remain responsible for contributions you submit and for having the right to share other people's materials. You retain rights to your original submissions. By posting content for the Conversation Room, you permit Positive Talk to store, review, moderate, reproduce and display it as needed to operate the service. Approved posts and display names may be seen by other registered members, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
09Intellectual property and outside links
Positive Talk's original materials, branding, page designs and protected workbook belong to Positive Talk or the respective rights holders. Public pages are available for lawful personal reading; do not sell our digital workbook or imply endorsement. Photos, videos, Bible translations and outside articles may have separate rights.
Links to TikTok, YouTube, helplines and other independent services do not make Positive Talk responsible for their content, payment practices, security or availability. Wix and checkout providers may apply additional terms to accounts and payments.
10Availability and legal limits
Features may be updated, temporarily unavailable, restricted or discontinued for maintenance, moderation, security or legal needs, subject to consumer rights for paid services. We cannot guarantee that outside resources or contributions from other members are always accurate, suitable or available.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Positive Talk is not responsible for losses stemming from reliance on general website information, independent websites or the conduct of other site members. Nothing in these terms waives a legal protection that cannot be waived.
11Changes and questions
